McKennon Shelton & Henn LLP Expanding Into DC Market

Baltimore, MD (July 1, 2015) – McKennon Shelton & Henn LLP (“MSH”) is pleased to announce that it has combined forces with Stinson Law Group, PLLC (“SLG”), a boutique business law firm based in Washington, DC. SLG was founded by Sulee Stinson Clay, who will join MSH as a partner and Chair of its Corporate Group in addition to serving as the managing partner of the firm’s newly constituted Washington, DC office.

Ms. Clay brings over 16 years of experience representing companies, investors and lenders in a variety of corporate and finance transactions, including debt financings, venture capital investments and private equity mergers and acquisitions.  Ms. Clay also serves as outside general counsel, advising a range of businesses in a variety of industries, including startups, venture backed technology companies, global manufacturing businesses, government contractors and nonprofits.

Ms. Clay began her legal career in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis and later joined the Washington, DC office of global law firm, DLA Piper US, where she was a partner in the Corporate Finance and Private Equity departments and served on the firm’s Policy Committee.

Ms. Clay received her J.D. from the Harvard Law School and her A.B. from Harvard College.  She is a member of the District of Columbia and New York Bar Associations.
