Community Involvement
McKennon Shelton & Henn not only does business in Baltimore -- we also contribute time and energy to serving the community. Firm attorneys and staff have provided much-needed legal counsel, volunteer and financial assistance to a variety of nonprofit organizations' programs.
We have partnered with the Baltimore Chapter of the Links, Inc. to sponsor a financial literacy program for middle school students in underserved areas of East Baltimore. Our firm's participation in this program received recognition at the graduate program and award luncheon sponsored by Links and its university partner.
For years, our firm was represented in the leadership of the Board of Directors of the Boys and Girls Club of Central Maryland. At present, our firm is also represented on the Boards of the Afro-American Newspaper, the Archdiocesan Ministry Board, the African American Catholic Ministries and a 501(c) (3) organization whose mission is to provide financial literacy to K-12 students and their parents through exposure to business education and members of the business community.
